Services are for youth ages 4-17. P.H.A.T. Sunday worship services are held 3rd & 4th Sundays. P.H.A.T.
Sunday worship are only at 10:30 a.m. services.

Music Ministry Component
|
Our Youth choirs lead the body into worship and praise. The love that exists keeps positive attitudes,
fine-tuned voices and Christ-like spirits within the ministry. This enables the choirs to minister with
greater POWER!
Reid Temple A.M.E. church has two youth choirs, which are the Children for Christ and the Youth Choir.
Both choirs sing every 2nd and 5th Sunday at the 11:00 am service.
The Youth and Children for Christ Choirs rehearse the Saturday before the first Sunday. The following
Tuesday, the Children for Christ rehearse at 6:00pm and the Youth Choir at 6:45pm.
The following Saturday, the Children for Christ rehearse at 12:00pm and the Youth Choir at 1:00pm.
Open to youth ages 2 to 26 years old.

Orchestra
|
The orchestra rehearses on Saturday at 2:30 pm. In addition to playing with the choir at the Sunday
morning worship service, the orchestra also plays in special services and concerts.

Dance Ministry
|
As David danced before the Lord, so does the dance ministry in its excitement to praise the Lord.
Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.

Youth Step Team
|
The Step Team is a ministry group trained to perform methodical and synchronized movements
to scriptures and songs. These innovative and inspiring drill routines performed by our steppers
is an exceptional way to witness for the Lord!
HIGHLIGHTS:

Provides a unique way to share God's Word
Builds individual's self-esteem
Teaches discipline and structure
Requires practice and dedication
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays at 6:30pm.

Youth Prayer Team
|
The Prayer Ministry prays for the needs of others. They encourage and pray for the needs and
concerns of the body. The Bible mandates us to bear the infirmities of the weak. The ministry
is seeing people helped and encouraged.
II Chronicles 7:14 - "If my people who are called by my name shall humble themselves, and
pray, and seek my face, and then turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven,
and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."
Ephesians 6:18 - "Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching
thereunto with perseverance and supplication for all saints."
James 5:15-16 - "And the prayer of faith shall save the sick; and the Lord shall raise him up:
and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another,
and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous
man availeth much."

Youth Worship Team

Praise and Worship is probably the most important aspect of the Christian walk. It is through
praise and worship that we as Christians draw near to God.
Praise and worship is not just a song service where we sing songs. It is not an outward
performance. It has to come from the heart!
