| Young Adult Ministry |
The Young Adult Ministry is committed to having a deeper relationship with the Lord and motivated to share this knowledge with others.
The Young Adult Ministry are members ages 21 to 33 who love Christ and have a desire to grow closer to Him.
The ministry provides opportunities for:
- Spiritual Enrichment
- Social Interaction
- Charity
- Service
Though individually members are at many different places in their lives, they are strengthened by their diversity as they gather
together to experience God's presence through friendships, and spiritual and personal growth.

| Youth Business Training |
The Youth Ministry believes that the youth here at Reid Temple have many gifts and talents. It is our desire to share these gifts and
talents with the community. When youth are encouraged and supported by others in community, they will become better citizens, serving
the common good; and developing the life-long habits of giving and serving in the community.
To fulfill our mission the Business Training Ministry provides tools to train youth in areas that will provide them with opportunities
to work/volunteer in the community.
The ministry will introduce the youth to areas such as:
- Career Planning
- Job Interviewing
- Christian Work Ethics
- Resume Writing
- Personal Financial Planning
The ministry also provides part-time job opportunities through the job bank and corporate partnership programs.

| Big Brother Big Sister |
Big Brother and Big Sister is a mentoring program that fosters the development of children into mature and responsible adults by
nurturing their spiritual growth through one on one relationships.

| Youth Tutorial Program |
The Tutorial Program provides an environment where students can realize their unlimited potential to succeed in education. This
program is available to students in grades K-12. The program seeks not only to give students a strong academic foundation, but to
provide emotional support and guidance as well. Programs are tailored to meet the individuals' needs and learning objectives.
Program Goals
• Give students strategies for achieving competency over challenging subject matter.
• Provide students with positive apporoaches to increasing Math and Reading proficiencies.
• Promote partnerships that increase parental involvement and participation.
• Recruit and maintain a diverse volunteer base committed to providing quality education and services.

| SAT Prep Classes |
SAT Preparation Classes are designed to prepare our youth to successfully take the SAT examination. Students take a practice test
during the first session, which is used to customize study plans for the remaining session. Students participate in two 90-minute
session, verbal and mathematics for six weeks and then take the real form of the SAT shortly after the prep classes.
SAT Prep Class Schedule
1st Saturday in October through the 3rd Saturday in November. (This prepares the students to take the SAT on the 1st Saturday
in December.)
The 2nd Saturday in March through the 4th Saturday in April. (This prepares the students to take the SAT on the 1st Saturday
in May.)

| Youth Explosion |
The Youth Explosion is a week-long gathering designed to meet the needs of families. Workshop classes confront difficult topics
that many families encounter. Parents, youth and children learn how to apply basic Christian principles to address problems that
exist within the family today.

Mission: To provide Washington-Baltimore Metropolitan area youth with opportunities for spiritual
development, discussion about teen-related issues and life management skills.

| Christian Enrichment After-School Program |
Age
Kindergarten through 6th Grade
Health Requirements
A health information sheet is required for each child enrolled in the Reid Temple Christian Enrichment Program.
Fees
The fee is $240.00 per month. Sessions can only be split in 2-week increments. A $120.00 deposit is required to reserve a space.
Transportation
Transportation is provided from the following elementary schools:
(Lamont, Robert Frost, Magnolia, and Carrollton)
