“Train for the Glory of God; it is your temple in His house.”
Members of this ministry are guided in the traditional Kanzen Goju Ryu style of martial arts (karate) not simply to gain the coveted black belt or to elevate themselves to higher skill levels. Rather, they train to put their bodies and minds more fully in service to our Lord Jesus Christ. The expert instructors who head this ministry teach students to strive for totality, perfection, and completeness in all they do, blending elements of karate with Reid Temple’s Sunday School and Christian discipleship instruction to heighten students’ spiritual growth.
