This ministry provides academic enrichment and tutorial services to school-aged youth of Reid Temple and from the community. Additionally, the ministry offers classes in standardized test-taking skills and prepares students for the SAT and ACT college admissions examinations.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE/VOLUNTEER
Volunteers must have a desire to work with children and youth as well as the patience and skills to tutor them successfully. A background in education and/or school administration is particularly helpful. Volunteers must complete the ministry’s training program before serving as a tutor.
