Commissions & Ministries
Reid Temple A.M.E. Church is designed to carry out the Great Commission of our Lord Jesus Christ to "Go, teach, make disciples." In order to carry this out, we have been provided with a vision in a five-fold perspective commonly referred to as the 5-E's: Evangelism, Education, Empowerment, Expansion, and Economics. Given the various aspects of Christian discipleship, the church utilizes internal organizations of Ministries, Boards, and Committees. In order to tie each organization into the vision, each is placed under a Commission. The following commissions are representative of the five vision components for Reid Temple. Click on each commission to learn about the ministries, boards, and committees that each is comprised of.
