Reid Temple-North’s Commission on Church Life is the organizational “shelf” on which most of our congregational care efforts rest. These ministries, led by caring lay members, experienced lay professionals, and trained clergymen or clergywomen, serve the ministry needs of the entire Body of Christ, our congregation. They provide both the behind-the-scenes and public services and supports that are so critical to daily function of our large and thriving church.
At Reid Temple-North, we believe that all things are possible through Christ, and we have Faith that God will guide our paths in all our ministry activities. We also believe that no ministry program is complete unless it also includes an assessment component. That is why our Church Life ministries in particular are tasked not only to carry out a wide variety of programs, services, and activities—they are also held accountable for evaluating the effectiveness of their efforts, changing the course of action or prayer when necessary, and making improvements as needed.
We take seriously our members’ and visitors’ comments and suggestions about church programs and activities, especially those that relate to how well Reid Temple-North serves YOU. We want to keep you as part of Our Christian Family. We appreciate and thank God for the continued service of all our Church Life ministry members and leaders—and we welcome you to join one or more as your time and talents allow.
